I started off as a Karaoke singer from the audience and as a Karaoke DJ, I was able to pull other singers out of their shells and get them to really enjoy the music not just as an audience, but as a performer. Karaoke Singing is a Performance of Music, Dance, and Party Fun and to sing what is in their hearts in the Karaoke Concerts.

One day, The Avent Karaoke Songmaster asked me to sing. There was no turning back as I entered the realm of The Avent Empty Band Karaoke Jam Sessions.

I like to make every Karaoke Singer sound their best to the Groove of Karaoke Song and Music. To bring together Family, Friends, and Couples in the Karaoke Community like a big Avent Empty Band Karaoke Singers in part Club, part Concert, part Jam, and Part Party and Bar Nights out..

Born a Preacher's son, John started out singing in his father’s church as a very small child. "Singing in Church is like karaoke, the words come up on screens or you read them from your hymn book, just like karaoke, right?"

John picked up on the Karaoke phenomenon back in the late 80's, when the music was still on laser disks, he has been hooked ever since...so hooked that by the mid 1990's he founded Avent's Empty Band. John became "Karaokeman" at The Office Bar in Sunnyvale, Ca. Since then Avent's Empty Band has hosted more shows in the San Francisco bay area than any other karaoke company to date!

My passion and pleasure in singing found an outlet in Karaoke Singing and it's a great outlet for emerging singers, like I was 10 years ago. In Avent's Empty Band Kararoke Show, as a Karaoke DJ, I can showcase you and put the spotlight on you as you enjoy the Karaoke Song and Music.

Karaoke Communal and Socializing is very important. I like to bring out this Social Connection in Avent's Empty Band Karaoke Shows. One time, I was singing a slow ballad. The crowd was listening intently. Suuddenly, in a social and emotional connection, our community started singing along with me. It was great expressive, artistic, and musical outpour in the Karaoke Community as I engaged everybody in Karaoke Song and Singing.

Since as a youth, I’ve always been interested in music. Now I truly enjoy Karaoke singing with the Avent Empty Band Karaoke Shows.

As a Karaoke DJ, I make Karaoke more than just a good time. I help Karaoke singers express themselves with creative outlets. My Karaoke DJ style is to channel Karaoke into a powerful impact on the Karaoke Music Community with positivity on psychological and physical well-being. Better communities with Karaoke Singers living improved physical, emotional, and social well-being is what I’m about as a Karaoke Host. This is Karaoke at its best for the Avent Empty Band Karaoke for entertainment and community to socialize through Rock, Pop, and Country Song and Dance.

I inspire to become like a Rock Star and everyone else to be a Rock Star in Karaoke Music and Singing. I touch base with singers and adapt the music, experimenting for best sound quality and check with each individual’s singers voice and style, bringing out the best in them. Basically, bringing techno-pop hi tech innovation to singing with Karaoke Singers who want to hear their voices chime just like Professional Artists and Singers in our Avent Empty Band Karaoke Shows.
