Dubbed M.C. Ruckus by fans... in the music industry for over 20 years, 8 years as a karaoke DJ with Avents, Brian is a natural born performer and promoter of fun! His karaoke following trust him so much so that they often let him choose the songs they sing!

Unlike other DJ's, Brian doesn't sit behind his equipment, he doesn't even have a chair. You will always find him up and interacting with his singers. Brian's high-energy, spontaneous show antics keep both singers and listeners entertained all night long. About Doug,

Doug "The Rocker" started out as a karaoke singer at Avent's shows and loved it so much he became a part-time karaoke DJ for Avent's 6 years ago...

Doug believes you should sing what you love and just have fun with it. He likes to see all the singers and listeners enjoying themselves.

So come out to a show, cut loose and have some fun with Doug, feel free to rock out!

August is the friendliest DJ in town, he always has a big smile and a warm welcome for all. August has an extensive musical background and has been the lead singer in several local San Jose bands. August's friendly, eager and caring personality has gained him the reputation of karaoke instructor. So if you have a question about your singing don't hesitate to ask August, he cares about how you sound, you'll always be in good hands with August!

Young, energetic, vivacious and soulful... Even though Thomas is new to the Karaoke circuit he is already making a name for himself working for Avent's Empty Band as a DJ..

Thomas invites everyone to come out and show off their skills! "Singing makes everyone Happy!" It doesn't matter if you like soul, R&B, or oldies... just come out, have a drink or two and sing for your soul!

A twenty year veteran DJ, 10 years as a karaoke DJ with Avent's, you will be safe and secure in Jennifers capable hands while you test karaoke waters. And if you're not sure you can face the crowd alone the first time Jennifer is always happy to sing right along with you. The great thing about Avent's karaoke is the unconditional support from other singers and listeners!

Born a Preacher's son, John started out singing in his father’s church as a very small child. "Singing in Church is like karaoke, the words come up on screens or you read them from your hymn book, just like karaoke, right?"

John picked up on the Karaoke phenomenon back in the late 80's, when the music was still on laser disks, he has been hooked ever since...so hooked that by the mid 1990's he founded Avent's Empty Band. John became "Karaokeman" at The Office Bar in Sunnyvale, Ca. Since then Avent's Empty Band has hosted more shows in the San Francisco bay area than any other karaoke company to date!
